Our Tutors

 

Fran McCullough

Fran is the owner/director of McCullough Learning, which he established in 2002. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Science from Penn State University and his Masters in Secondary Education – Mathematics from Temple University.

Fran is PA state certified in the following areas: Elementary Education (K-6); Middle School Mathematics (6-9); and Secondary Mathematics (9-12). He has experience teaching students in Elementary and Middle Schools and Fran is currently employed full time as a public high school math teacher. Fran’s teaching experience also includes teaching “at risk” students.

Fran is excited about sharing his passion for math with students of all ages.

 

 

Jennifer Bertagni

Jennifer Bertagni earned her Bachelor of Science In Elementary Education from Penn State University and is certified in Pennsylvania to teach Elementary Education, Middle School Math, and Middle School Science. She is employed as a 6th grade teacher in the Philadelphia School District. Jenn has experience and enjoys tutoring both math and science for elementary and middle school

  

 

 Liz Brush

Liz Brush earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Lehigh University. Liz is a former civil engineer and enjoys tutoring high school math and physics.

 

 

 

Maureen Saraco

Maureen Saraco received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Saint Joseph’s University, summa cum laude, and will receive her Master of Arts in English from Rutgers University next spring. In addition to working as a teaching assistant and teaching writing to Rutgers University students, Maureen also works as a grant writer for a small Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization. Maureen is well-versed in literature, writing, and grammar, and enjoys cultivating a love of books and language in her students. Maureen scored a perfect 800 on her SAT verbal section. Maureen teaches the verbal section of our SAT Prep program as well as providing tutoring/enrichment in high school English.

 

Alexa Kuchler

Alexandra Kuchler received her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education-Mathematics from Penn State University (Schreyer Honors College). Alexandra graduated with high distinction and has earned her Pennsylvania Teaching certification in Secondary Education-Math. Alexandra is currently employed as a substitute teacher in the Council Rock School District. Alexandra has experience and enjoys tutoring mathematics for SAT Preparation and all high school course work.

 

 

Kristina Moore

Kristina Moore received her Bachelor of Arts in Russian Language and Literature from Swarthmore College.  Kristina brings 10 years of experience working for a major national test-prep provider and scored a perfect 800 on her SAT verbal section. Kristina teaches the verbal section of our SAT Prep program as well as providing one-on-one verbal SAT test prep,  ACT and SAT II subject tests.

 

 

 

Dan Louis

Dan received his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Structual Engineering from Steven's Institute of Technology. In addition to working as a part-time tutor, Dan is employed full-time as a structural engineer. Dan has experience and enjoys tutoring Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Geometry, Physics and SAT Math. Dan scored a perfect 800 on the SAT math section.
